Stories from Scandinavia

As a journalist and writer, I generally focus on the region where I live: Scandinavia. I like to follow and explore local trends, behaviour and advice as a way to understand who we are, why we do what we do, and what we can learn from each other.

I also like to interview and lift up independent businesses, independent thinkers and brave people who challenge the norm. As the anthropologist Margaret Mead said, never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; it's the only thing that ever has.

In terms of travel writing, I believe passionately in responsible, sustainable and regenerative travel. I share this passion by highlighting authentic travel experiences in my writing, and seeking out recommendations that give something to both visitors and locals.
