After many years writing content and devising content strategies for big brands in freelance, internal and agency roles, I’ve opened up my own content studio here in Copenhagen, Studio Blackbird*. Studio Blackbird is a specialist travel and lifestyle communications agency with a passion for Scandinavia. I’m bringing together some of the most talented people I’ve worked with over the years to serve the exciting brands coming out of this region. From our base in Copenhagen, we focus on developing travel and lifestyle brands from Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Greenland, the Faroe Islands and Iceland, helping them reach a larger market. I’m really excited about the opportunities ahead, and am delighted that we are already working with a series of brands, including Sprout and VisitCopenhagen, to develop their storytelling, brand marketing and content. Sustainability, creativity & positive change I believe that it is important to work in a business that jives with your values. Developing somewhere that is specifically values-led means that clients know what they’re getting from you. Studio Blackbird’s key values act as guiding lights: we aim to work with sustainability, creativity and change-making. Great marketing is about creating positive change and we are always working towards it. Creativity is at the heart of great brand communications work, and it’s always part of our process. And sustainability is an essential now for anyone working in the travel industry. I have just completed the GSTC training program and will continue to develop knowledge on the area to better serve clients in the travel industry in the post-Covid era and the years ahead. If you’re a small to medium-sized enterprise based in Scandinavia and want to make an international move, we’re here to help your business take off. Find out more at www.studioblackbird.dk *The name? It’s because you find blackbirds in all the Nordic countries and the UK. It’s also because ‘Blackbird’ is my favourite Beatles song, and as someone hailing from the northwest of England like them, I think it’s always important to remember your roots. Comments are closed.
